Pallet is used for the convenience of cargo handling, transportation, storage and distribution. It is a loading and unloading pad consisting of a load surface that can carry a number of items and a forklift socket. It is the main means of transforming static goods into dynamic goods in the logistics industry. It originated from the Pacific War in the 1930s. Afterwards, pallets have been widely used in the world. At present, 80% of commodity trade in the United States is carried by pallets. In Europe, 600 million pallets circulate among enterprises every year, and China has about 200 million pallets.
The main test items of pallet: bending test, fork lift test, compression resistance of cushion block or longitudinal beam, stacking test, bending test of bottom slab, dynamic/static load test, and angle drop test.
